Weather Conditions
Spring arrived early, two weeks ahead of normal. It was also rainy and the vine shoots grew steadily. Fine weather in June enabled a successful flowering. Then there was a change of scenario with the return of cold weather. At the end of August the ripening situation was in a worse state than in 2013, and there were more grapes. It looked like we were going to have to old out for a long time. Then the magical bordeaux climate turned things around with a Indian summer that went on till the last days of October, allowing the grapes to remain healthy and rich full ripeness. 2014 turned out to be a very fine vintage.

Tasting Notes
A deep, dark purple colour and a sombre intense nose with ripe fruit. The wine is massive on the palate with broad shoulders. The oak ageing is evidence and is well integrated. The finish is lively and precise. A wine with character.
