Château Godeau 2010 :

A very deep, dark purple colour, showing no signs of age. Quiet expressive on the nose, extremely intense aromatically, with spice aromas to the fore (nutmeg, white pepper, curry) with black fruits in brandy (bilberries), liquorice and sandalwood. This sunny wines shows no heaviness or jammy fruit chracters.

The palate is broad, dens and rich in the attack.

Its tannic structure gains in tickness and depth. The tannins are very fine-grained. The finish is now more balanced with sweet warmth counterbalancing lively acidity. The whole is underpinned by a saline note.
