Weather Conditions
After a mild, damp winter, spring arrived with an explosion of vine vegetation, during whitch the vines budded very evenly. But this good start didn't last long: heavy rain and the cold months of May and June slowed teh flowering process and caused substantial coulure (fruit settinf failure). Hot July waether made up the delay in the vine cycle, and quite good weather in August with its cool nights augures well for the complexity of of the wine. Unfotunately tropical-type waether  set in at the end of September, which brought with it the threat of botrytis and a deterioration in the health of the vines. It was then a real race against the clock to bring the grapes in, and this tested the nerves and precision of the wine growers. And yet somehow, between the picking and the final result in the vast, near miracles sometimes seem to have happened.

Tasting Note
An attractive wine with a purple hue and aromas of fresh fruit. Its hallmark is its smoothness and freshness, and its flavours on the palate expressing hints of passion fruit and sweet spices. A wine of tangy fruit with very soft, silky tannins.
